Backgammon Sports Federation Annual General Meeting – November 2025

Under the visionary leadership of Mr. Ishan Jain, the Backgammon Sports Federation successfully held its Annual General Meeting in November 2025. The meeting was attended by 17 members representing clubs from across the country, marking an important step in our journey to strengthen and promote backgammon at all levels.
Key Decisions and Initiatives
During the AGM, several important initiatives were discussed and approved to take the Federation forward:
- New Website & Social Media Presence – Plans to build a modern, user-friendly website are underway. The Federation will also launch official social media accounts to engage with players, clubs, and fans nationwide.
- From Clubs to Federation – Strengthening the structure from clubs to a unified Federation to ensure better coordination and support for all members.
- State & National Level Championships – Organizing regular championships across all age categories to promote competitive play and discover new talent.
- International Recognition & Participation – Efforts to connect with international backgammon bodies are being planned to promote local players on the global stage.
- Youth & School Programs – Introducing initiatives to involve schools and young players, nurturing the next generation of backgammon enthusiasts.
- Training & Coaching Programs – Developing coaching modules and workshops to improve skills at both grassroots and professional levels.
